Private Flute Lessons

I accept students of all ages and experience levels in my private studio.

Teaching is one of the greatest joys of being a musician. When I teach, I aim to strike a balance of tone and technique work, repertoire-building, and music preparation for school bands or other ensembles, all blended with an emphasis on the fun and joy of learning an instrument. I will always cater the goals of the lesson to fit each and every student’s individual needs.

All first lessons will be a FREE half hour lesson so the student and I can mutually decide if we are a good teacher/student fit.

The rates for private lessons in my Cincinnati home studio or on Zoom are $30/half hour and $55/full hour. For private lessons at your home the rate starts at $65/hour. I am open to discussing a reduced lesson rate based on a family’s income level and need.

I recommend weekly lessons to school-aged students. For adult learners, lesson schedules are tailored to the individual based on availability and goals.

I accept checks, Venmo, PayPal, and cash. I strongly recommend paying for lessons monthly and up front, but I am flexible with payment schedules.
